Meet Ruoxu. She is in her early 30s. Ruoxu has a full-time job advising customers on the best insurance options for their lifestyle & she also owns a Mermaid diving business that involves quite a bit of travel. Ruoxu is currently pregnant with her first child. She didn't want a "maternity" wardrobe. She wanted to look great & be comfortable without spending a lot of money & she also wanted styles that she could wear post baby without feeling like she was still wearing 'maternity' clothing. This lookbook features Ruoxu's favorite LoveIt maternity friendly styles from her 39 week journey

"I purchased this LoveIt dress before I knew I was pregnant. It's one of my favorite work dresses. I wanted to feature it here at 2 months because I'm still loving this style at 6 months. I don't think I can wear this style full term because it might become too short (although I could wear it as a tunic top) but I already know it's going to be a great dress for easy nursing when I'm out & about. I also find the long cardigans amazing. I have one with me everyday. "
"Here we are at 6 months & my baby bump is finally starting to show . I can definitely feel myself starting to fill out. My bust size has increased and even though it's not that noticeable I've gone up a size in clothing. I still love wearing this dress and now that it's finally here I am loving a style that shows off my bump. I also love that this fabric is wash & wear because I am wearing it often."

The FEEL GOOD FACTOR
As I get bigger I find I am more focused on how fabrics feel against my stretching tummy skin. I love the feeling of plush cotton jersey the most - it feels like I am wearing pajamas all day (some days this is exactly what I wish I was doing!). The vibrant color also makes me feel pretty which is great because there are many days when I am so tired I just don't feel like putting in a lot of effort
Aside from being pregnant with my first child I am fortunate to be working in two different businesses that I love - I help people get the best solutions for their insurance needs & I also own a mermaid diving business which is very popular in Mainland China. My weekly commute often takes me from my home in Discovery Bay to Hong Kong Island to China Mainland and back again. When it comes to packing, I want light versatile pieces that I can easily dress up and down & that all mix and match so I don't have to think about it
For work meetings I love my solid red princess top with my super stretchy high waist cotton jersey pencil skirt
Here it is again with my fav roll top shorts that I purchased pre-pregnancy. Perfect for hot days in DB & for traveling
I also find these high waist cotton jersey pants very comfortable. These will be coming with me on my hospital stay
the ESSENTIAL TWIN SET
The best thing about my princess cut top is that you can also layer it over the matching dress which is great for date nights and special occasions where you want to relax and enjoy yourself & feel pretty & feminine
extra SPECIAL SHARED MOMENTS
While I'm loving the simplicity of my princess cut dress on a hot humid Hong Kong day my Mom is having her own love affair with LoveIt's empire maxi dress which is also one of my fav mat styles
My Favorite Outfits at 39 Weeks
Close to the finish line and I feel like I'm about to burst but as yet there's no sign of my little princess leaving the cocoon. It's crazy hot & humid - the princess cut top and roll down high waisted shorts have become my everyday staples now that I'm not working as much. These pretty florals make me look like I have lots of energy
