Ready-to-wear clothes are great if they fit your torso length perfectly. But there's a > 90% chance the torso length of pre-made clothes won't match yours. If one of these measurements is wrong your clothes will make you look fat, frumpy or old!
Why? Because ready-to-wear clothes will only look good on you if you have the same torso length proportions as the fit model(s) used to create the base pattern. If your measurements aren't the same as hers, nothing else matters. And no matter how much you love the fabric you won't end up wearing the clothes!

Our customized clothes are based on modifications to our ready-to-wear styles which you can view in our online shop or try in our physical Boutique. For example, Ruoxu and Tobey both look fabulous in the Audrey Dress but only one of them could buy this dress off-rack and have it fit perfectly. Which one?
The Ready-to-Wear version of this dress was designed for women with the same torso length measurements as Ruoxu. It's important to note that torso measurements have nothing to do with your height!
Ruoxu could buy this dress ready-to-wear and it will fit her perfectly because it matches her body for these 5 measurements. If it's the right color, she's good to go...
Tobey also loves the Audrey Dress but her torso length measurements are not exactly the same as Ruoxu's so she ordered a customized version to get the perfect fit

Generally, the price for our customized clothing for women is the same price as for our pre-made ready-to-wear garments. The only time the price is different is if you want a more expensive fabric eg: stretch lace instead of jersey or if you want to add lining or additional trims that aren't available as standard.
